Reporting to: Operations Manager, Pinnacle Directors & Firm

Pinnacle’s corporate facility serves a high-performance, professional membership base that expects exceptional service, privacy, and measurable results. The Strength & Conditioning (S&C) Coach will deliver high-quality, evidence-based training programs for lead athletes and the wider membership, working collaboratively across a multidisciplinary team to support performance, health, and wellbeing. The successful candidate will demonstrate elite coaching standards, outstanding interpersonal skills, commercial awareness, and a commitment to continuous professional development.

KEY ROLE OBJECTIVES

  • Deliver bespoke strength and conditioning programs that produce demonstrable performance and wellbeing outcomes for lead athletes and senior members;

  • Provide consistently exceptional, client-focused coaching and service to a discerning corporate membership;

  • Contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to member care by communicating effectively with colleagues (e.g., physiotherapists and nutritionists) and participating in integrated care pathways;

  • Support facility growth and member retention by developing trusted client relationships and promoting Pinnacle’s premium services.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage athlete and member caseloads, including onboarding consultations, movement and performance profiling, program design, progress reviews, and reporting;

  • Ensure 75% or higher completion of lead athlete profiling battery per quarter;

  • Commercial development: proactive promotion, conversion, and ongoing management of Personal Training packages, supporting facility revenue targets through professional member engagement and measurable targets;

  • Plan and lead group training sessions tailored to high-functioning members’ schedules and goals;

  • Conduct detailed initial assessments (movement screen, strength metrics, conditioning tests) and use data to individualize programming and track progress;

  • Coach lead athletes in line with competitive schedules, occupational demands, and lifestyle considerations;

  • Maintain meticulous records of training plans, session notes, outcomes, and member communications;

  • Provide timely, constructive feedback to members and colleagues; engage in reflective practice and contribute to internal education and quality-improvement initiatives;

  • Actively support business objectives by building and retaining the athlete population, contributing to membership growth, and promoting training packages and specialist services;

  • Demonstrate retention of >75% lead member athletes;

  • Uphold the highest professional standards of confidentiality, appearance, timekeeping, and customer service consistent with working in a corporate environment.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Essential:

  • UKSCA and/or ASCA and/or NSCA accreditation or evidence of work towards such qualification;

  • Proven experience prescribing, delivering, and progressing S&C and personal training interventions across adult populations, including high-functioning/professional members;

  • Experience delivering day-to-day coaching to individuals and small groups with strong outcomes and client satisfaction;

  • Right to work in Hong Kong.

Desirable:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Science or related discipline;

  • Women’s health specialisation, including menopause coaching, hormonal health, and female athlete programming;

  • Nutrition and lifestyle coaching support, providing guidance on recovery, daily habits, and broader wellness aligned with each member’s training goals;

  • Spoken Mandarin/Cantonese proficiency;

  • Experience coordinating coaching staff across shifts and facilities;

  • Experience as part of a multi-disciplinary team at a sporting organisation or institute;

  • Experience operating in corporate environments demonstrating exceptional service.

WORK ARRANGEMENT AND HOURS OF WORK

Full Time Salary: HK$33,000 per month and attractive commission structure on Personal Training delivery

Hours of Work: 45 hours; some flexibility required for early mornings, evenings, or occasional weekend work to meet member needs

Work Location: Central (Corporate facility)
