Reporting to: Head Physiotherapist and Pinnacle Directors

The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of best practice musculoskeletal physiotherapy in a fully integrated S&C + Physiotherapy facility. Treatment and consultations may include manual therapy, and implementation of appropriate rehabilitation plans including on the physiotherapy table and on the gym floor. This  will  include  the  design  of  patient rehabilitation plans and implementation of these plans into member and non-member-athlete S&C programming. 

You must demonstrate a passion for working with general population individuals and the drive to create lasting change with athletes of all abilities and backgrounds. The Pinnacle system requires a high degree of communication within a multidisciplinary team, and in particular collaboration with the strength and conditioning team to facilitate optimal member-athlete performance. As part of Pinnacle’s holistic approach, the successful applicant will also be responsible for creating positive change for our full-time employee base and must be able to demonstrate excellent standards of knowledge, deliver exemplary standards of physiotherapy, communication, and professionalism at all times. 

Key Areas of Responsibility

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver best practice physiotherapy in a private practice setting; 

  • Design rehabilitation plans inc. progression of programming in line with schedules, goals and personal needs; 

  • Deliver  patient  education  and  implementation  of  injury  prevention  and  movement  optimization strategies;

  • Work in collaboration with Strength and Conditioning Coaches to allow for optimal athlete performance; 

  • Support the Head Physiotherapist in the growth and development of the Physiotherapy Department;

  • Support the development and delivery of various Challenges and Events throughout the year; 

  • Contribute to ongoing development of Pinnacle staff through knowledge sharing in formal & informal settings;

  • Engage in timely feedback and self-reflection as part of the ongoing educational processes as well as ensure CPD requirements are up to date as per the Hong Kong Physiotherapy Boards requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy with at least 3 years experience working as a physiotherapist in HK

  • Registered with the Hong Kong Physiotherapists Board with a valid practicing certificate

  • Strong background in manual therapy and exercise prescription

  • Multidisciplinary, patient-centered approach to patient care

  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills  

  • Have a highly-motivated, caring, confident, enthusiastic and professional manner

  • Solid commitment to continuous improvement with an enthusiasm for learning

  • Excellent spoken and written English.

Desirable:

  • Post-graduate qualifications in Physiotherapy

  • Previous experience working with sporting teams or athletes

  • Proficient in sports taping

  • Strength & Conditioning/Personal Training related qualifications and experience

  • Spoken Cantonese and/or Mandarin

WORK ARRANGEMENT AND HOURS OF WORK

  • Full Time Salary and Commission:  Negotiable - based on qualifications and experience; 

  • MPF: Full employer contributions

  • Annual Leave: 20 days paid annual leave days

  • Work Location: Central, Hong Kong

  • Hours of Work: Full time role requiring up to 42 hours per week that may include irregular and unsocial hours, including evenings and statutory holidays, and any additional hours that are necessary for the proper performance of your duties.
