Reporting to: Pinnacle Operations Manager | Pinnacle Directors

The Fitness Centre Manager will be responsible for support to the Operations Manager in managing facility operations, business development, and member engagement initiatives. The role is crucial for reaching and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives and key results (OKRs) set by the client and the firm. This position requires someone with a proactive and detail-oriented approach, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced fitness environment.

Key Areas of Responsibility

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

KPI Achievement and Commercial Growth

  • Take ownership of reaching and exceeding KPIs and OKRs related to membership, revenue, service delivery, and customer satisfaction;

  • Continuously assess and execute growth strategies to expand Pinnacle’s revenue streams, training products, and engagement initiatives;

  • Oversee personal training sales, class utilization, promotions, and member engagement campaigns;

  • Lead planning and execution of fitness events, community activations, and service development initiatives to drive awareness and participation.

Operations & Facility Management

  • Oversee daily operations across multiple fitness facilities, maintaining consistent service standards;

  • Manage scheduling and planning of training sessions, events, and programming across facilities;

  • Coordinate financial and performance reporting, expense tracking, and vendor relationships;

  • Ensure safety and security and tidiness of all facilities;

  • Oversee IT/data protection compliance across all sites;

  • Proactively identify opportunities for operational improvement and implement strategic solutions in collaboration with senior management.

Team Management & Leadership

  • Lead a team of 9 direct reports, including coaches and admin staff, plus freelance instructors;

  • Drive team performance through training, coaching, and performance reviews, fostering a service-oriented, accountable culture;

  • Work closely with Pinnacle’s senior leadership on staff scheduling, team planning, and resource deployment across multiple Hong Kong locations.

Reporting

  • Prepare and present regular operational, commercial, and team performance updates to senior leadership;

  • Align facility performance with client expectations, internal goals, and Pinnacle’s broader growth strategy.

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business, sports management, hospitality, etc.);

  • 3–5 years of experience in a management role, preferably within corporate fitness, wellness, or hospitality operations;

  • Demonstrated success in leading teams, achieving KPIs, and delivering commercial results;

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills;

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage planning, reporting, and day-to-day operations;

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage;

  • Proficient with data analysis and performance reporting.

Desirable:

  • Experience working within a corporate fitness environment or delivering services to a professional client base;

  • Strong understanding of wellness programming and training product development

Work arrangement & hours of work

Work Location: Hong Kong Island

Salary: HK$50,000 per month + Performance bonus
