Reporting to: Hubsite Lead, Senior Management and Pinnacle Directors
KEY ROLE OBJECTIVES
The S&C Coach will be responsible for the planning and delivery of training interventions to their lead athletes as well as coaching delivery as part of a team to the full membership base. As part of Pinnacle’s complete fitness service provisions the successful applicant will be responsible for creating positive change and must be able to demonstrate excellent standards of knowledge and coaching delivery at all times. The successful applicant must demonstrate a passion for working within a multidisciplinary team, communication of information and member training support, as well as pride in their own continued learning and coaching responsibilities.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
20 hours per week of coaching and related activities across Pinnacle’s various facilities and membership bases, with a primary focus on the RHKYC facility;
Prescription and delivery of personal training sessions;
Prescription and delivery of small group training sessions of up to 4 members;
Prescription and delivery of large scale team training of up to 50 athletes;
Member management including consultations, profiling, programme development, and progress reviews at regular and pertinent intervals;
The ability to assess and understand the strengths, weaknesses, and goals of each member and to develop a customized programme to support and monitor their progress toward said goals is a critical requirement of the role;
Coaching of members in line with their schedules, goals and personal lifestyles;
Development of personally invested relationships with the membership base;
Timely feedback and self-reflection as part of the ongoing educational processes.
Build the athlete population through growth in memberships and consistent renewal of packages
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Essential:
UKSCA and/or ASCA and/or NSCA and/or NASM accreditation or evidence of work towards such qualification;
Experience working with various population groups (preferably including experience with populations in the 50+ age bracket);
Experience in the prescription, intervention and delivery of S&C provision for various populations (preferably including experience with paddle/water sports athletes);
Experience in the delivery of day-to-day training sessions to groups of members.
Desirable
Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Science or related discipline;
Experience in the delivery of powerlifting and/or mobility and/or running programming
Spoken Cantonese and/or Mandarin.
WORK ARRANGEMENT AND HOURS OF WORK
Base Salary & Commissions: HKD $10,000 per month plus 40% commission

Work Location: Causeway Bay | Central
Hours of Work: Part-time role, 20 hours per week
