This is a high-impact role at the centre of Pinnacle's growth ambition. Operating multiple membership, sporting, and corporate sites, you will develop existing pipeline relationships into a function that identifies, pitches, and secures new business from qualified site opportunities to signed service contracts. You will identify and activate new partnership channels and ensure every new site launches with a commercial strategy ready to execute from day one.

You will be accountable for new revenue generated, origination of new Pinnacle hubsites, and the commercial readiness of new hubsites. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing, General Managers, and Operations Director to translate the pipeline into revenue generating hubsites. As a commercially-driven operator with a track record of closing deals and building partnerships, you will be measured by outcomes.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Pinnacle is a premium strength & conditioning, physiotherapy, and nutrition facility in Hong Kong. We are in a period of deliberate growth — expanding locations, scaling corporate wellness partnerships, and deepening our community. As Head of Business Development you will be responsible for delivering new revenue across corporate accounts, strategic partnerships, and new satellite sites. 

QUARTERLY KEY RESULTS

  • Revenue generated by new hubsite accounts and hubsite expansions

  • Number of new corporate accounts signed

  • Commercial site readiness / time to revenue at new hubsite launches

Strategic Partnerships & Corporate Accounts

Identify, develop, and close commercial partnerships and hubsite service contracts. Own all commercial partnership agreements end-to-end, from initial conversation to signed contracts.

New Revenue Channels

Evaluate new commercial opportunities and service verticals. Present proposals to the CEO with revenue projections and risk assessment. Own the activation strategy for any new channel approved.

New Client Acquisition

Build and manage a live pipeline across corporate, workplace, residential and hospitality, and sporting sites. Own the full process from identifying partnerships, pitching services and management business, to contract close; including proposals, negotiation, and contract execution. 

Commercial Visibility

Maintain commercial dashboards and KR reporting for board review.

New Site Commercial Readiness

Lead the commercial workstream for every new hubsite launch: pipeline creation, pricing, partner activation, and pre-launch revenue targets. Define and own the commercial readiness checklist and time-to-profitability metric per site.

KEY DELIVERABLES

  • 90-day commercial plan covering pipeline build, partnership targets, and revenue opportunities

  • Live pipeline tracker with weekly reporting to CEO

  • Commercial playbooks for each service line and segment

  • Corporate account and partnership pipeline with stage-by-stage conversion tracking

  • Pricing and package framework per hubsite and service line

  • New hubsite commercial forecast and 90 day launch plan

  • Business cases for new revenue channels as identified

CAPABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven track record closing B2B deals & building commercial partnerships in a service business

  • Strong commercial instinct with ability to identify, qualify, & convert new revenue opportunities 

  • Experience building sales processes and pipeline discipline from scratch

  • Confident negotiator — comfortable leading commercial conversations at senior level

  • Data-driven with the ability to build and maintain pipeline reporting and KR dashboards

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and understand revenue accountability at site level

  • Experience in health, fitness, wellness, or premium consumer services preferred

  • English fluency plus Cantonese and/or Mandarin proficiency 

WORK ARRANGEMENT & HOURS OF WORK

Employment Type: Full Time

Primary Work Location:  Hong Kong (HK residence/work authorisation required)

Salary: Head of Function level base salary and commission performance-linked quarterly OKR bonus

Benefits: MPF, Annual CPD, Paid Annual Leave, Group Medical Insurance Contribution

Hours of work: 45 hours per week
